109: Wherein Blind Optimism Is One of Dawson's Faults Along With Tiresome Romanticism
there's some vacancy i'm looking to fill /
in the hopes that you might respond /
no judgment no questions asked /
oh please
spirit cookies after every game
\\\
I only asked because I was / escapist
if you want reality look out the window /
the year that you and I came into high school /
he won me a stuffed frog at coney island
one way to get rid of a lie is to make it the truth
\\\
now there's no more excuses there's no one else / talking
long after the person i'm trying to impress has lost all interest /
remember you know exactly what it was /
why would you even ask me
she's talking on the phone who's she talking to
\\\
i never believed it you know /
i don't have a good angel / there's
so much i want to tell you / oh
my heart bleeds
holiness now
there's some vacancy i'm looking to fill /
in the hopes that you might respond /
no judgment no questions asked /

111: Wherein Dawson Is So Oblivious
from now on everything is going to be one big epic romance
tortured and passionate / letters
and phone calls / after what happened last time /
i don't lust after
you like a spirit goddess
\\\
the ending was definitely not happy it wasn't even tragic it just ended /
i don't want you crossing me off any more of your lists /
you think stuff like that never happens but then it always does /
the world is a safe and happy place
and dark was very reminiscent of
\\\
out of the closet snakes some bloody / comes
in contact first in notes and phone calls / the killer
collects hearts okay they don't
talk about / the knife in her purse
so that you're always on guard
\\\
find a better heart mine's / no midnight
séance no corpses / what note
what phone call / don't you remember
what happened
for awhile i thought i might go out to hollywood
