Jay Mendell
i think this is called larping
our d&d characters are in love and i pretend it doesn’t mean anything.
my paladin is a bastard who pretends he’s a god but your rogue makes him want to be a
better person and it definitely has nothing to do with the way you smile.
“it’s that good, good character development,” i say and you laugh and i can’t
stand the way you look at me because i don’t know what it means.
after you broke up with your last boyfriend you told me that you think you might not be straight
and i pretend it doesn’t mean anything.
i’m not a girl/boy but you still treat me like i’m human and god even that is sometimes too
much.
i say “i love you” so often and the other day you almost kinda said it back and i
still don’t know what it means.
my paladin is on a journey to become a god after a lifetime of fear, he wants to prove that he is
good/strong/kind enough to deserve it.
your rogue is hurting and has been hurt and is learning how to heal, she wants to learn
to trust in people again.
you said “they are both looking for a home and have found it in each other” and it
hit me, it hit me.
it probably doesn’t mean anything.
it doesn’t mean anything.
but i’m in love with you, and that means everything.
