It's no secret that in the FreezeRay Nerdcave there exists a modded XBox that has 1000s of games pre-loaded onto its console from every major game system from Atari 2600 all the way to Nintendo 64 (the SNES catalog alone keeps your E-I-C busy for hours at a time). So, yes, the classics are treated with reverence here. And to discover that a bold new press is basically publishing a series of books on classic video games (read: Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Super Mario Bros. 2, Galaga, etc) is 8-bit music to our ears. Their Season 2 is fully funded but still available for pre-order at their Kickstarter website here.
All of these books are available both in print and electronically (DRM-free), which makes all the sense in the world.
